American History

As you noticed, I started an American History project. Yes, it was a knockoff of the Chinese history project. No, I'm not finished yet. Yes, you can help me :-D Purplebackpack89 23:48, 30 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Think about merging it into World History. Microchip08
I suppose Chinese History should be merged there for the same reasons. Should I start a heading on American History, or a subheading of Modern History? Purplebackpack89 23:52, 30 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Up to you. Microchip08
It has a heading now. Can I get a link to something that describes how a wikibooks article should be written differently than a wikipedia article? Purplebackpack89 00:48, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Using Wikibooks. Microchip08

Merge Chinese History with World History?

If the American History portal got merged into World History, the Chinese History should probably be too. Purplebackpack89 04:24, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Good idea. Microchip08
Done Already. Pmlineditor  Talk 12:35, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rollback

Hello. I am a rollbacker at ENWP, SEWP, and SEWQ, and I want to request rollback permissions on this wiki. Thank you, —§ Snake311 (I'm Not Okay!) 22:23, 2 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Done. MC8 (b · t) 22:28, Wednesday September 2 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. :) —§ Snake311 (I'm Not Okay!) 22:51, 2 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bureaucratship

I'd liked to nominate you for bureaucratship. You are the most active administrator here. I realize there are few requests that a bureaucrat would get here, but I believe even small communities should have one. (Simple Wikiquote has 4 :O ) Will you accept? Maximillion Pegasus 15:14, 26 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

A small community generally doesn't require a local bureaucrat, because stewards can easily handle the low traffic of requests from that wiki with little delay; generally a user with this access is not needed until several local administrators are present.m I don't think I need the access. There has been one request for a bot in my adminship period. I don't want to have rights that I don't need. MC8 (b · t) 13:56, Sunday September 27 2009 (UTC)
Ok, I see. Well, maybe once the community grows then :) Maximillion Pegasus 01:39, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Strange, I have seen 3 bot requests. Huib talk 10:34, 29 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Meh. I just remember one, there's probably more. MC8 (b · t) 22:34, Tuesday September 29 2009 (UTC)

Main Page

It would be good to simply say that content will be merged into English Wikibooks. I've withdrawn the bug you link to because people are favoring bringing content into the Wikijunior or main namespace rather than creating a new namespace. -- Adrignola (talk) 05:57, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Done Thanks. Pmlineditor  05:59, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
