Open proxy blocking

Hi. Would you mind holding off on the proxy blocking, the blocks are flooding RC and #cvn-sw. Once we get the flood flag enabled this should clear up. Thanks, GrooveDog (talk) 00:12, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sure. I will hop in there for a second an apologize to everyone I just annoyed. :-P Tiptoety talk 00:13, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Semiprotecting user talk pages

Hi Tiptoety. Thanks for helping revert the vandalism. One note though, isn't it generally discouraged to indef semi-protect user talk pages, because then IPs cannot contact that user? If there's been vandalism/abuse on a user talk page, i think it makes more sense to do a temporary semiprotect until the vandal goes away. Just a thought. Cheers, Tempodivalse [talk] 02:31, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

They both requested the action be done, and seeing as neither one were very active with the exception of reverting clear cases of vandalism I saw no harm in it. Now that JC is actively editing and improving books I have lowered the protection on his talk page. As for J.delonys I am going to leave that the way it is as it is a clear vandal target.
