It doesn't really stand for anything, but is made up of two words; Wiki and encyclopedia. Hope this helps. :) TheAE talk 22:47, 11 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Suggestion to change Splash page to TOC contents

  • Hello, wondering if it would be easier to have the TOC on the main page. The big image is a bit misleading (this is not only American/British English) and also doesn't seem to provide value (users have to click to TOC to do anything else anyway. Any preference not to do this? --Jeffmcneill 04:36, 5 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Many other books also have splash pages. Should they go too? Microchip08 07:29, 5 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I don't know, just asking about this one here. --Jeffmcneill 09:15, 5 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
