The Bible not only says people need salvation, but tells one how to "accept" Jesus.

  • First, believe in God, God's son Jesus Christ, and that Jesus can forgive sin (bad things). (Acts 16: 30,31)
  • Salvation is a given freely to the Christian. (Eph. 2: 8,9)
  • Salvation comes because Jesus died on the cross. (Col. 1:20)
  • The person must repent (turn from sin). (Luke 24: 47)
  • The person must be changed by the Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19)
  • The person must come as a humble child to God. (1 Cor. 1: 21)
