Another quick note: When categorising pages, please use the slightly longer version of categories, for example, if tagging Biology/Systems/Immune System, you should write [[Category:Biology|Immune System]]</tt> instead of just [[Category:Biology]]</tt>. This stops everything under the category from being sorted under "B" for Biology instead of "I" for Immune System.

If you want to copy-paste the category tags, [[Category:Biology|{{SUBST:SUBPAGENAME}}]] will work as well, automagically filling in the name. Thanks, Microchip08 16:50, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Its really no problem. I like doing maintance and there is here still a lot I can do. I didn't know that way of category tags but I will use them now. I wan't to clean all list with pages, templates and categorys that doesn't have a category yet. I was thinking about asking Import rights also, so I can import some templates that aren't here yet. Maximillion Pegasus 02:02, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]Hi Abigor, you may know this from other wikis where you wield the mop and bucket, but as an administrator you are allowed into #wikimedia-admin, a cross-wiki coordination channel for Wikimedia administrators. Any member of the channel can invite you in temporarily, but you need an invite exemption from a channel operator to get in whenever you want. You can come to #wikimedia and ask for an invite. Any admin from any project is welcome. It is a good place for cross-wiki coordination of vandal and spam fighting. It is also useful for new admins to contact more experienced admins in real-time to get help with the more complicated admin tasks such as history merges/splits and importing via Special:Import. Please translate the interface at betawiki: rather than on your local wiki, and to upload images at commons: rather than locally as well (when possible). But I think the simple talk is the best place to discuss things like that. About the back end we have a lot of work with templates, category's and pages that aren't in a Category. A bot can run at any time they like, but humans give the impression that the wiki is active. On a side note, I've added a few skins to the gadget section of prefs if you want to try some out (I reccommend the dynamic menus). I am still searching wich files we need to edit to create costum error messages.I will check out some of the new themes, but I need to be on a desktop computer for that the aren't working on a PDA.
