New Main Page design

I really like the new design for the main page, though it will have to be reworked frequently as we add books until only bookshelves and featured books are visible. However, I see two problems: 1) the Other Wikimedia Projects section has too many lines in it: lines for subsections and lines for the boxes and 2) the Other Languages section has the name of the main page in that language, not the name of the language. My preference would be the removal of the subsection lines and a change to the language names instead of the main page titles. --Cromwellt|talk|contribs 21:01, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My theory when designing it was that the wiki is not growing at a rapid pace, so we could afford to have a relatively dynamic main page. We could remove the "other languages" section and just have them under the interwiki box. Microchip08 18:10, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blank Space Removed

Change of setup

The page should be changed so that all the buttons that link to the different books are easy to read and access, and so that there is not all that other junk cluttering up the page.
